PRAMA is a fun book that chronicles the lives of a handful of high school students on the day and night of their Senior Prom. The story starts out with a list of "Who's Who" like yearbook entries. It was a brilliant way to start the story to give the reader an idea of who would be encountered during the course of the book.

We first meet Molly Walker, the head of the Prom Committee. Molly is a planner and wants everything to be perfect. She's not the most po...more

The young adult fiction book Prama by Jamie ponti chronicles the lives of a handful of high school students on the day and night of their Senior Prom. The story starts out with a list of yearbook entries. It was a smart way to start the story to give the reader an idea of who would be encountered during the whole book. My Rating: 3.5/5 stars

I picked this up while at the library for a school project; the cover definitely drew me in, and the little blurb on the back of the book intrigued me a bit. As I began reading this book, I expected some PLL-type novel about rich bitch girls freaking out over senior prom. While I did read about that (*ahem* Victoria... *ahem*), it felt different, somehow.

I loved all the different story lines, and how they intertwined together at the very end. I love when novels are written...more

This book is awesome! If you are in the mood for a good chick flick, love story type of a book, you will love it too! The beggining takes a little bit to get involved in, but you will love how it ends.

The book Prama by Jaime Ponti is book with a series of teenage drana. This book talks about what teens go through when their senior prom is right around the corner. Prama gives us readers the oppurtunities to get to know the characters well. The readers are able to see, feel, and know what the character wants because the book is written from first person point of view.
Prama follows the steps of many characters and one of them would be Molly. Molly is upset because her relationship with her bo...more

In this book, Victoria; the alpha girl of the school who has won Prom Queen so far three times in a row. Until the beautiful Karolina comes in as a nobody in school. When she would walk in the halls, all the guys would stare at her as if she was a goddess. When Victoria saw this she wanted to do anything capable to not let Karolina be crowned as Prom Queen.

My text-to-self connections are that when I started singing when I was in first grade. And well after just one christmas carol I had it all....more

This book was actually a really good and fun book because it had lots of drama and great imagery. It started out with Molly Walker telling us about each character and she described them very well. Molly has always been dreaming of prom that's why she joined the prom committee. She is always planning things and has to run by her schedule. She thought everything is going to turn out perfect until her boyfriend, Cameron, broke up with her before prom. Allison is her best friend, and she had to go t...more

It's a surprise for me to find that this is one of the best book I've ever read. I hasd my own misgiving when I saw this book. I only read it because it was written by Jamie Ponti. The cause of it is that this book has multi point of view which I thought will make the characterization kinda shallow. Not only that, it's also about prom...

I have to give it hands down for Jamie Ponti. She managed to create this book with an intersting and believable array of lovable characters. The alternate point...more

(Mr. Canfield)

I thought the book "Prama" was very realistic. This book was about teenage girl drama the week before prom. All the drama involves boys, mean girls, and the crowning of the prom queen. Molly is the main character, she is involved with the prom committee, which leads her boyfriend to break up with her. She gets very stressed and her friend, Alison, takes finding Molly's dateless problem on her own shoulders. Later, when they get to the dance Alison realized she doesn't like her date...more

how can a prom be happening with out some drama happening is the main slogan to this book and i agree with it. every prom must have some drama in it to become a really prom. that is why people look forward to it, some important might happen during this important time on the year. every body in this book have some problems, because they can't really do anything right, and that create the drama after all the drama these problems will all settle down and meet the prom. this might seem normal and sn...more

This was a really really mindless read but it was pretty fun. Brought up memories from my own prom last year and had me smiling. It was a really quick read as well as mindless, but the stories of the different students drew me in right away. And, as with all of my favorite mindless books, it is complete with a happy ending. *Insert warm fuzzy feeling here*

This book was enjoyable, I will it admit. But the only thing that I didn't really like about it, is that it was very choppy. One thing would happen and then the next thing you know you're reading about someone else. Which is understandable considering this book was being written from MANY points of views. Overall though it was a fun, easy read!

Hilarious and wonderfully written! I may be a little bias though. This story takes place and has a lot of hints to my hometown of Jacksonville Beach. While the drama isn't as ramped up as some other books with the same theme it has just the perfect balance and leaves you laughing.

HILARIOUS!!!! I had issues because I was reading this at night when I was supposed to be sleeping but I was laughing so much :). It was great, the plot was average and ok but the humour was great, tons of little things on every page that just make you smile.

One of the most important days of the high school year is prom night. The day that everyone has been waiting for has finally come and everyone's getting ready for the big night. As the time of prom comes closer, more drama comes in between each hour.
