Back in the early '80s when Stephen King was new and setting the world on fire, the Leisure/Pinnacle/Kensington/Zebra groups were putting out horror novels as fast as they could get their presses to print. Most had die-cut, garish covers designed to attract attention in the drug-store and bus station spin-racks; many of them were very bad, some were pretty good, a few were excellent, and most were entertaining but flawed in one way or another. This book sucks so bad I couldn't get past the first 30 pages if you're interested in reading it you can pick it up at the local thrift store

Gerald Neal Williamson (April 17, 1932 - December 8, 2005) wrote and edited horror stories under the name J. N. Williamson. He also write under the name Julian Shock.
