Recently I was invited to review this book. Since I live IN Texas and I'm always looking for new places to explore I agreed to review it right away. I read this little book in one sitting, and while there are all interesting places to visit...and I've been to at least two of them...I'm a bit disappointed that three places that I think should have been in there aren't mentioned.

Some of the places in the book include;

Moody Gardens
The Houston Space center
Dinosaur Valley in Glen Rose
Ft. Worth Stock

While the 12 places listed in this book are great choices, this would probably be better as a blog rather than in book form. There is about a page and a half to two pages of information on each place with a website link. I also wish the author had included pictures, or at least one picture. Disclaimer: this book was given complimentary in exchange for an honest review
