Wasn't what I was looking for - meals broken down by 15, 30, 45 minute increments. I'm sorry, but 30 and 45 minutes is not fast in my world. I make most regular meals in that time frame. I was looking for more ways to quickly thrown together fresh ingredients in interesting ways.

And I might just be grossly ignorant, but long cooking times come from things like meat braising and roasting...why would vegetarian meals ever need more than say, an hour cooking time? So, how is 45 minutes fast? This i

I absolutely love the Quinoa and Corn Enchiladas! However, the other recipes were so-so...especially the curry dishes. I have checked this out twice from the library and have found myself drawn to recipes that I previously flipped past. I intend to check it out again in a few months and see if I find something new and intriguing. I do hope to try the edamame hummus some day.

Quite a few of the recipes in this book look pretty tasty, but there are some which sound quite unappealing, especially in the "Kidz" section. One helpful bit of information included with each recipe is the time frame for preparation, either 15, 30 or 45 minutes. Some of the recipes rely on prepackaged foods, but I didn't find that objectionable. To be realistic, prepackaged foods certainly make a prep time of 15 minutes more achievable. This will be a good book to try when needing a meal in a ...more

Lots of great recipes here, and many full color photographs. However, if you are an avid reader of the magazine (especially a subscriber), you
will find nothing new here. It seems that most, if not all, have been featured in the magazine over the past few years.

A few really good recipes. I would recommend the Apple-Oat Bars Yum! Also Primavera Pasta w/ Breadcrumb topping. It has it all from breakfast, salads, soups, beverages and even a kids section.
