Ils s'appellent Jean Van Hamme, scénariste à succès (XIII, Largo Winch...), et Grzegorz Rosinski, dessinateur réaliste a ...more

What I like most about this album is the fairy tale side of it. Which I guess is a bit paradoxical since it’s one of the only albums with sci-fi in it! But it’s like the usual Thorgal album with its great mythology except with less battle in it (though there is a bit, too, of course). I thought the story of Aaricia’s birth was so cute and fit so well. Also it’s always great to have a bit of backstory on the characters. So it’s for these reasons that I really like both this one and the Aaricia al ...more

This is actually a collection of 3 short stories that tell us more about Thorgal's origins.
So in a sense this is a prequel in the chronology.

Every panel like a painting and the story is an awesome blend of scifi, fantasy, and norse mythology. Excellent. Seriously though, this ties with Geoff Darrow's Hard Boiled for my favorite comic art *ever*.

Yes, this is classic in the genre.. What a shame that all Thorgal series haven't been printed yet in czech, because this is beautiful fantasy comics, with all that creatures, dwarves and heroes.
