I saw this book in the library and hoped it would be a sort of one life/one chance inspirational book to read before I go and check out what will *hopefully* be my new diggs in about a month. Plus it'll let me practice some French without having to talk to people, 'cause I hate talking to people!

So far the book is about a brother investigating the death of his brother.

I'm putting cien anos de soledad on the back burner for now.
