I read this on a plane, and dogeared about 10 of the recipes for later inspection. Those people on the edge of Rails move fast, and this was a great way to keep on top of things. Not to mention it looks like it will save a ton of time, as it solves a lot of common problems for you!

If you spend significant time working in rails, then its worth a skim over. There are a few cool tricks i didn't know about, and its a good jumping off point.
