Shelves: nostalgia, snoopy, comics
Another great collection, featuring selected cartoons from “You’re The Guest Of Honour, Charlie Brown vol 2”, this was published in 1979 (the Coronet edition I read) with comics from 1972 and 1973. Less melancholic than normal, as usually happens when Snoopy features more prominently (though he does have a couple of strips that tug at the heartstrings, as does Woodstock who wants to find his ‘mom’ on Mothers Day), this nevertheless features the whole gang and has a decent balance of one-off ...more

Charles Monroe Schulz was an American cartoonist, whose comic strip Peanuts proved one of the most popular and influential in the history of the medium, and is still widely reprinted on a daily basis.
