How soon we forget . . .
This is one of the most comprehensive and disturbing accounts of U.S. military involvement in Latin America ~ especially relevant as we debate torture, drones, and other assorted atrocities. It's also a reminder of what true, prophetic Christianity looks like.
Padraic
We don't torture? We don't commit war atrocities? We're too moral to do these things? A cry from the 1980s about how the U.S. partnered with the devil to crush Christianity in Mexico and points south. Makes Abu Ghraib seem like an afterthought.
