Cannibal City is the second book in the Titanic 2020 series. While not up to the wonderful standard of the first book, it was still incredibly good and kept me entertained right through to the last page. Colin Bateman has created some wonderful characters and an intense plot. Jimmy is very likeable and Claire is much more interesting than she was in the first book. Their interactions together are highly amusing and pretty cute. I thought Ronni was a wonderful addition to the books and her story ...more

Colin Bateman was a journalist in Northern Ireland before becoming a full-time writer. His first novel, Divorcing Jack, won the Betty Trask Prize, and all his novels have been critically acclaimed. He wrote the screenplays for the feature films of Divorcing Jack, Crossmaheart and Wild About Harry. He lives in Northern Ireland with his family.
