I met the author at a publishing salon held by Komenar Publishing. She gave me this book to pass on to an acquaintance who is studying menopause for her Ph.D. dissertation. I took the liberty of reading the book before I gave it to the Ph.D. candidate.

I found the book both delightful and revealing. I think of Alice now as a close friend. I love her spirit and her resolve. She is indeed a feisty woman, and she did a great job of portraying herself as such. Also, self-aware, courageous, and intel
