This is an interesting police procedural set in New Orleans. The story was steeped in the history of the civil rights movement. This was a great debut with the potential of being a great series. Sadly, the author died before the publication of the book.
Pretty good book. Lots of twists and turns combining a personal cold case with a new case involving the same people. Set in New Orleans.
