I read the first volume and it was good so I wanted to read the second volume and it was still very good. Both have fast paced action and a lot of fun illustrations. My only complaint was that because it is YA the dialogue was a bit flat and childish but I will be picking up the next few volumes to finish the series:)
This is probably one of the more interesting volumes in the series as it shows us the history of the valkyrie Sara Irine as she is reunited with the town that betrayed her twelve years ago. Beyond that this volume goes by very quickly, dumping exposition and the like. Fernis and Chaos meet early so any suspense about that is quickly squashed. While it remains very nicely drawn, it still seems more like a game than a story at times.
