Most information here is taken from Aflaki's Manaqib al 'Arifin (مناقبالعارفین) and shows a wonderful summary of Rumi's life.
One word, only one word explodes from Jalaluddin Rumi, and that is Jamal (Beauty)...

It is important to say that because of contemporary understanding, some people want separate Rumi's writings from religion, and want to sink it in bland "open-minded" pseudo-spiritual statements. His message is universal, no doubt, but make no mistakes, Rumi applied the outside completely,

I found this book within our university's shelves, I picked it for research purpose but it turned out to be more than that; I couldn't close it until I was done with it.

What I love about this book other than its simplicity is that it showed us Rumi not as the historical figure only but also as the great poet and mystic, the one & the only when it comes to romantic poetry.
