This is a more old-fashioned romance.

Clint works on his dad's ranch. Gail is taking care of her dad. They are attracted to each other, but Gail seems to love his kids more than him. It's about 2 people starting over and creating a new family together.

It's not a bad book, it just didn't do it for me.

The career path toward being an author didn't exactly follow a straight line.
