This was a quick and enjoyable romance. It's also the second book I've read recently with a theme of a tomboy heroine making her best friend from childhood see her in a new way, the other example being One Of The Guys by Kristan Higgins. Since childhood -- yes, I've been reading romances all my life -- I've liked the ending best of all. I've always called it the "You love ME? I love Y...more

This book has a friends-to-lovers plot, one of my favourite romance themes. The heroine is brilliant, resourceful and sneaky, and the hero is just deliciously alpha. This is a book that makes me laugh out loud with every re-read. It never gets old for me. Just a bloody marvellous book, and a lovely way to spend a spare hour or two.

it was a quick saturday night read, nothing new or diff about the plot. tomboy wants to her small town to see her as a woman and not as "little miss mud face". her bff is this hot guy, all the women in town want him but she never saw why....until now. she takes steps to become more feminine, her life and her relationships start changing. its very cute.
