The typical Shojo plot twist-one of the couple finds out the dark secret of the other. The innocent girl-she just wants to help Fuji-her guy. Of course, it is BEHIND his back. Gee, things get twisted, and she only makes things worse. I like how first kiss is explored here. One person in the relationship-total novice, the other extremely experienced. Shared first experiences are to be cherished in a relationship. What can even be a first for Fuji?
I so could relate to Sakura's desire to express he

Ryoko knows what she wants in a man. He has to be athletic, kind, smart, caring, and dark haired. Although she has never had a boyfriend, she knows that her first kiss will be with the man she falls in love with. Unfortunately, instead of finding "Prince Charming," Ryoko met Ryunosuke and her world was turned upside down. Although Ryunosuke meets her standards, there is one small problem: Ryunosuke is a host. Although Ryoko believes that Ryunosuke could never be serious about his feelings for he ...more
Aaaaaaaaaand you lost me.

I was hoping after a okay start to the series in volume one that volume two would up the anti and help me connect more to the main character's budding romance. Unfortunately, nope.

Instead of a fleshed out story we go right into the deep end as B.O.D.Y jumps into unnecessary dramatics and equally unnecessary plot turns. Now, I know that drama (and over the top drama at that) are staples of this genre of manga but this is only volume two. At this point I'm not invested en

Enjoying this series. In this series Ryoko is dating Ryu. No one in school other then Ryoko knows that he is a part time Host. In this volume him being a Host is starting to get in the way of their relationship. Will they break up, will they continue to date? You have to read this to find out.

Also in this volume we meet the President of the company that Shun works for is he a nice guy or a big jerk.

It's a cute series. This particular one wasn't that exciting. However I would like to see how Ryonuske's and Ryoko's relationship survives in the war between him and the President. That man was really creepy. I'm glad Ryoko got out of that situation fast. I feel like the President set that whole thing up just to mess with her because he said girls like her needed to learn a lesson.

Enjoying this series even if it is over the top in teen angst (so a typical Shojo). The relationship development of the two main characters, Ryoko and Ryunosuke, is well done and they have good chemistry with each other.

It always takes me at least two or three volumes in the series to tell if I will like the manga, and I definitely like this one. I thought it was about to go downhill toward the end, but then the main character made the right choice and I was like "YES!!!! You go girl!" :D

I thought host don't really do the sex part.
The main character is so naïve.
She shouldn't bother.
Her bf's life is his. No need to interfere.
