This book is an interesting compilation of stories from various Native American groups about the important figure of Coyote. The figure of Coyote has many facets as the book teaches us. This is one of the definitive collections of coyote tales. Lopez not only collects great stories and tells them with an engaging voice, he also provides an insightful introduction.
