I was first introduced to French through her current children's graphic novel Barry's Best Buddy and thought I'd try her earlier children's work. This is a really sweet book, and I loved Tinka the sheep (who was adorably drawn and as small as a cupcake), and parts of this book really worked. But other parts just didn't work at all. Like the end.

A sweet message for kids! Great animal medicine for grown ups! I read this because I had a dream where I heard the word 'Tinka'...so I found this book. It definitely had a cool message for me and it makes sense with what the dream was telling me. An amazing happenstance!
