Took a while to get into..and then the turns and twists started..and turned out to be a very good read indeed! Humans can be the scourges of the earth..but there are more humans that are beautiful and wise.
Not my usual style of thriller but it had me glued from the start. An insightful view of New York in the early 30´s. Lots of unexpected twists that had me reading well into the night.
