She was the world's oldest virgin... But that didn't mean Kathleen Miles had no feelings. Or desires. Especially when this pure-blood city woman came face-to-face with the most captivating cowboy this side of Hopkins Gulch. Why, when warm, hard Evan Atkins looked at Kathleen, it was as if he were seeing someone else. Someone who was daring. Passionate. Experienced. Yes, sh ...more

Danielle The Book Huntress (Self-Proclaimed Book Ninja)
This book passed my good book test. I loved the characters, I was involved, and I enjoyed the storyline, and it made me feel good and optimistic when I finished the book. Not all books have to have a feel good quotient, but it's certainly nice when they do.

Evan and Kathy were both struggling to do right by the boys they were raising: Evan was a single father with a three-year-old son, and a big farm to run. Kathy was raising her orphaned nephew.

Evan used to be a wild child, raising you know wha
When I started this book, I didn't know it was some sort of "inspirational" romance, which I probably wouldn't have read because that type of romance does not appeal to me. I don't like to mix religious messages with my romance. So take my review with a grain of salt.

This book tried way too hard to be wholesome and sweet. The characters came off as unrealistic and fake. People just don't act this way.

My main problems with this book:
- The 34 year old single heroine constantly putting herself down
so sweet and endearing! i really liked how they got to know each other and began to feel something more. they did have a connection from the first. however the wedding was rushed and i felt it was more for the boys than for themselves dat they got married. they were presumably already in love. i also dunt belive in their HEA; it was too gud to be true! the book also lacked angst and passion. so if u're looking for one of these two ingredients, this is not the book 4u!:P
This is a heartwarm love story about two people who find themselves drawn to each other, not only for their own need but the needs of the children they care for. Kathleen may be older than Evan, but he was worlds ahead of her in life experience. Both have children that depend on them. Kathleen wants only to do what's best for her angry nephew, and Evan desperately wants to see his toddler son thrive. There are some lovely smiley moments in this one. Ms Colter's sense of humour shines.
Un libro donde la sinopsis no tiene nada que ver con el contenido, me di de bruces no me gusto le puse dos estrellas porque si pa no darle duro al libro
