Her live-in boyfriend, Dawson, is the first. Locksie has shared a wonderful three years with Dawson without half the drama that she hears about from the clients in the salon she manages. But ...more

ocksie, a hairdresser, is living in sin with her boyfriend Dawson. Dawson is a personal trainer at the gym, and he’s the first man with whom she’s ever had intercourse. Locksie has been feeling guilty about her relationship with Dawson and her saved Aunt Mary tells her that she needs to develop a relationship with Jesus – her guilt stems from the sin that she’s committing.

There are so many highlighted points derived in this book:
Think about what your gravestone will read? What did you do during the dash (after you were born and before you died)!

Think about those who come back to the church after living in their sin and how there are members who are condemning-judgmental without knowing anything about this person, or stiff-necked people with slick mouths. Sadly, when I was a child to young adult growing up in the Baptist Church, I recall some of these same issues

GOD aint into threesomes

This is my first Urban Christian book, and I am very pleased to say I could not have picked a better one to start with. Author E.N. Joy really kept me captivated in the novel. She had me feeling as if Locksie's struggles were my own.

Meet Locksie, a young woman with a live in boyfriend Dawson. They have a love that is so strong and unconditional, that it should be the envy of others in a struggling relationship or single person. Things start to change when Locksie starts t

Me myself and Him

Took me almost half way to emerge myself in the story... but still gave it 5stars for it to be Christian fiction. My first time reading from this author and can see myself reading more.
A pretty good storyline about 2 different women and their walk in Christianity. Most of us can see ourselves in Locksie when the spirit hits you and you still trying to fight it, what a battle within. And as far as her friend Hannah the Spirit hits her not when she wanted it to but just when she

Sometimes we have to be willing to give up something/someone we really love if God says so! Do you have the faith and the will to give it up? Is your love for man stronger than your love for God? I should hope not!
