I like that this book is written by a Christian doctor. He offers great advice, medical and moral. He explained some things I have never understood before, such as how exercise affects the body and why it is effective for weight loss and general health; only muscles burn fat; the difference between overfat and overweight and stealth obesity. Short spurts of vigorous activity (10 minutes) help heart muscle. Longer periods of vigorous activity (45 min) burn fat; and much more (Chapter 8) and diet ...more
