Loved this book. Great characterization, plus the setting and language took me back to the area where my parents and grandparents grew up. The author did a "spot-on" job of capturing the feel of the area for the time era.

The story had elements that made me wonder of the outcome and had a few hidden surprises. Always a treat when I'm reading a book. Thanks Kathleen Y'Barbo for another entertaining book.

This was a pretty standard Christian romance. I liked the bayou setting. I thought that was interesting along with some of the secondary characters. The romance itself I didn't like so much. I didn't feel the connection between the two main characters. Still, it was a decent story overall.
