The dog dressed like dad and did the things their dad did like wake up grouchy, take the family on a picnic, ate corn on the cobb, saw a cat unlike dad and chase it for a few minutes. When he got back he barked out order for a barbecue like dad without the dogs. He got the newspaper and slippers and read the kids a story and gave rhem a lick. They were so excited that they wanted the mom to become the cat.

Recommends it for: parents reading with their children
We found this book on a display at our local library in honor of Father's Day, so we decided to borrow it. It's a funny story and we laughed out loud several times while reading it together. It's a fun take on man's best friend as well as on the things Dads do.
