This is my favorite parenting book. It isn't judgmental about your styles. You can read sections at a time. It helps me with little things without being preachy.

um... not such fantastic advice. in fact, very traditional and not very useful. change baby's diaper regularly, feed baby when hungry, don't drop baby on head. if you need a book to tell you these things, you shouldn't be having a baby.
Contains the most basic how-to's which were plain common sense. The later chapters offered more helpful quick tips though for an anticipative mom to a 4-month infant.
cute book.
