I'm originally from Philadelphia, but I consider Boston my home. Reading this book brought a lot of nostalgia back. I miss the old city and Fenway park. This book is not just a small history of the park, but a discussion on why the park means so much to the people of Boston. I liked it a lot and hope to show my girlfriend Fenway on our next trip back.

This book is a sociological look at why Fenway means to much to so many people. It also gives an interesting overview of baseball history, Fenway history, and Red Sox history. Definately an interesting read.
