I like the way the mouse uses a note pad to record clues to finding a mango. The book uses tounge twisters and looks of discriptive words to describe the fruits. Great for teaching recording your observations in Science.

This book is also great for a read aloud. Marti is tasked with finding a mango to bring to a friend's party, except Marti doesn't know what a mango is and where to find one. Using a story basket would complement this story well.
