3.4  ·  Rating Details ·  5 Ratings  ·  1 Review
Pork in Capitol parlance is the money of everyone being squandered on a few--and it's a time-honored congressional tradition. Adventures in Porkland is Washington Post editor Brian Kelly's brilliant analysis of the cheating and abuse that went into the 1991-92 budget. Includes 15 savagely witty illustrations by Pulitzer Prize-winner Pat Oliphant.

This is an excellent look at the mechanisms of pork-barrel spending. How does this machine work? A must for any policy wonk.
