I've been blasting through this book since I picked it up. I've never been taught how to cook or eat (other than the obvious advice about getting your fruit and veggies), so this has been very insightful for me. I've learned a lot about general good nutrition, including what everyday things to avoid and healthy snack alternatives. Some of the information I take with a grain of salt (the book is by the editors of 'Prevention' magazine, a health tabloid), but overall this has been very helpful for ...more
