Jane Yolen, one of the most prolific writers I know, has written a funny little counting book about the things that anthropomorphic hippopotami.
I picked this book out at the library, all by myself. I really like hippos. The book is pretty basic, 1 hippo hops, 2 hippos jump, etc. The illustrations are funny, but the text is really brief.

I aim to be the world's hippo picture book expert. The hippo paratroopers alone are worth the price of admission.
