A great story full of twists, surprises, and action.

The Forest of Angor is set in the world first introduced in Beyond the Plains (World of Myth #1). The heroine, Emily Stout, is learning the ropes among the Amazons, working to build her minimal skill with a bow, and trying to make friends with the tight knit group of women. Her grandmother is supportive while Adelpha, the young Amazon princess, has taken her under her wing, but the others mistrust her. Besides that, a traitorous enemy travels a

This was a fun read and picked up right where Beyond The Plains left off. You are introduced to a host of new creatures as Emily and the rest of the amazons travel from the great plains back to their territory in the jungle. As they are traveling back they are also trying to figure out who the traitor among them is before it's to late.

This book makes for a fast read, the dialog is well written and entertaining, and their are plenty of great fight scenes throughout. The book never feels slow an

Not as fast paced (short) as the first book, with a lot more interesting plot and storyline. All in all this is a very good read, and much better than book 1. The ending "cliffhanger" could be spotted from a mile away though

A satisfying sequel to the first book! Adds a lot to what I loved from the first book. I love how this world is really coming together now. Can't wait to see what's coming up next!

I loved this book as much as the first if not more. A page turner with great suspense and plot twist.

In the interest of full disclosure:
I am a friend of the author. Him being a friend my opinion is probably slightly biased but it is still one of the better books I have read, this holds true for all of his books. His writing is also improving with each book. Well worth the read.
