When you’re a favorite pet, the arrival of a rival can spark a pang of jealousy - but this charmingly illustrated tale reminds us that there’s plenty of love to go around.

Dudley is as happy as a dog can be: waking up Anna bright and early, knocking over vases while he’s playing hide-and-seek, scaring the neighbor’s cat (or trying to), and curling up with Anna at day’s end.

This is a great book for a child who feels that they may have been forgotten, or worse yet, replaced.
Through the story of a girl, her dog, and a newly acquired chameleon, your child will be reminded that although situations and roles may change, they will always be loved, needed, and appreciated.

This book was ok because it was about a dog. If you find a way to relate this to children who are getting ready to have a younger sibling, it could work out. But other than that i found the book to be a little boring and not very interesting. It was about a dog who is jealous of his new owner's new friend who is a chameleon.

touching story about a dog who is misplaced by a lizard but then comes to his rescue from an attack by the cat. may be a good bibliotherapy for a child welcoming a baby and having issues with the shared attention.

This is a cute book for a little boy or girl that feels they have been replaced by their new sibling. I really enjoyed this book.

The kids, teachers, and parents loved this story. This story would be great for a child struggling with a new younger sibling.

My little girl (5) enjoyed reading this with me. As we've recently had a new addition to our family I thought it would be a good way to get her talking about new arrivals and how she felt about it.
