Not as good as Secrets of a Lady but still worth picking up if you like a soap-opera like convoluted mystery involving two families and all their dirty laundry.
And be forewarned that this is a prequel to Secrets of a Lady, no a sequel, which confused me to no end at first.

I liked this book. I actually read the sequel to this, "Secrets of a Lady," first. It wasn't on purpose though. I liked "Secrets" better, but this was also really good. I liked the twists and turns of the plot and I liked that there was a lot of intrigue in it.
