The Last of the Nephilim is the third book of the Oracles of Fire series. The book picks up with Ashley and her group on the trail of clues trying to find her father. The trail takes them to a place called Second Eden in another dimension. They accidentally end up here when they fall of a bridge and crossing dimensions. Last of the Nephilim is exciting and thrilling. They're back, Billy and Bonnie are back in the story! The threat of the Nephilim on Earth has passed, and thanks to Karen and Naamah they didn't complete their bridge to Heaven. But the connection between Earth and Hades is still attached which is causing some of the dead in Hades to roam the Earth once again. As well as the nasty Caitiff from the Circles of Seven. Walter, Ashley, and Sapphira learn from Enoch that the only way to severe the attach ...more

Bryan Davis' Last of the Nephilim is an enthralling book that draws the reader in like a black hole, and makes them crave for more like man before Thanksgiving dinner.

The theme of this book is to always remember what is most important to you. The author writes from the perspective of several different characters. This allows the reader to know whats going on and not be out of the loop. The writer has different characters set with their different personalities, giving the each a strong level of

You just have to make sure your paying attention because there are many different views and it go's to different groups of people and what they're doing at that time.Like Sapphira is with Billy, Billy's dad and some of the knights along with Shiloh and her dad and also Gabriel getting ready to go to another demension. Then Elam was just swooped up by Angel's dragon just before getting killed by a muskrat. Then Bonnie and her mom where on vacati ...more

I had mixed feelings about this book. On one hand, I was disappointed because some of my favourite characters seemed to change in very drastic ways. The book was also kind of slow in parts, and hard to keep going, contrary to the usual fast pace that I tend to use while reading Mr. Davis' other books. However, I really enjoyed the storyline, and I cannot wait to move on to The Bones of Makaidos.

I'm actually starting to really enjoy this series. The writing style is still not my favorite, but I can follow it now and I'm really starting to love all of the characters. They have truly been developed nicely despite their unrealistic mannerisms, it works. The story is starting to pick up and I'm curious as to how it will turn in the last of the series.

Also, I'm really beginning to understand parts of how my friend thought because of this and I've learned through carrying them around that mor

This book perfectly continued the previous one. It was absolutely thrilling, and I was also happy that Billy came back for parts of the book. It was incredibly neat, and all of my favorite characters continued to mature and become more amazing than ever. I also appreciate all the themes that Bryan Davis uses in his book. It's amazing how life-applicable a fiction book can be. This book also gave a perfect openings into the next, The Bones of Makaidos which by the way, is also an incredible book. ...more

This is not a stand alone book. If you have not read any other book in this series drop it now and go back and read "Raising Dragons." If you do not read all of the books you will be so very lost.

For those of you who have read the previous books in this series I am sure that your curiosity will make you read this book anyway so instead of ruining anything I will just say that you need to be prepared for more multiple story threads that jump around and intersect in mysterious and confusing ways.

this book was full of adventurer and action full of info about god and king Arthur there is also a bit of romance in it for the women and a bunch of stuff about sword and stuff for the guys... this is the book where billy learns that the dragon slayer is back at large and is working for Satan now
This book was a good sequel to the first two Oracles of Fire books. My only problem with it was that I couldn't remember who half the characters were and it didn't really accomplish much for the plot. It just kind of went on and on and on.

I wouldn't read these books again, and I have no plans to ever really recommend them. They're not terrible, they just aren't what I would read now.
