<p align="center"> Hester Browne created a unique heroine in Melissa Romney-Jones a.k.a. Honey, London's ultimate freelance girlfriend, who won the hearts of readers on both sides of the Atlantic in her "charming and feel-good"(Cosmopolitan) and "funny and original" (People) earlier adventures. Now her New York Times bestselling ser...more

*************massive spoiler alert at somepoint**************

When I first began reading this series, I just knew that Nelson was the guy Melissa. But when the first book ended, I appreciated the fact that the author didn't go for the obvious, and Jonathan was a great, if kind of stiff, guy. He stood up to her father, and that won me over. I felt a hum of anticipation in the second, when Melissa came back from America, and her and Nelson had a moment....but t...more

This wasn't nearly as good as the first book. And while it was fun to catch up on 'the little lady' and her revolving-door of a love life it was a bit annoying to have every innuendo spelled out for the reader in this latest version of life in GB.
Like the author I care about what happens to the unpredictable and sassy heroine, although Ms. Browne gives us a very uninspired ending for Melissa Romney-Jones. This final installment offers a number of questionable plot twists toward a very pre...more

Why do I keep picking up crap I know I am just going to complain about later? That is defiantly my weakness when I have a library card to a library with loads of new books. I am defiantly attracted to them. So even if it’s a continuation of a story I didn’t really care about in the first place, I still read them. God, I read this book so long ago, what even happened? The girl and the dude who was kind of an ass broke up. And that was it! Kind of strange, but that part I liked. Girl finally reali...more

I'll admit it: I like a good chick-lit novel (although I abhor the label). Hester Browne writes charming, light stories with characters that feel real. This particular series is charming--Melissa finds herself at the mercy of her crazy family and decides to put her foot down and seize her independence by starting a business doing what she does best: helping people (especially single men) get their lives straightened out. In this final installment of the series, Melissa is engaged to Jonathan and...more

FINALLY Melissa finds the life she deserves. She's a sweet, charming, and naive woman but she finally gets what she wants. I couldn't have wished for a better ending to this series.
Book Description by Amazon:
Melissa Romney-Jones, recently returned from New York, where she got engaged in the last installment (Little Lady, Big Apple) to handsome Jonathan Riley, is a proper British fixer for the romantically impaired. Now she's knee-deep in royal slime after she agrees to turn smarmy p...more

Just a warning: If you haven't already read the first two Little Lady Agency books, you may want to hold off reading this review - that is unless you don't mind a bit of a spoiler - I'll try to keep things to a minimum, but BEWARE.

Okay, onto the story. Melissa is back as The Little Lady who can solve any problem. No bachelor too scruffy, no family crisis too daunting - she's there to sort it all out. Her reputation has spread so much that she is hired to help Prince Nicolas clean up ...more

On the one hand, this book was really fun to read. On the other hand, I think every time I turned a page, feminism died a little bit. There were a lot of chick lit clichés to ignore (about the heroine's figure and her attitude toward it/ignorance of its true appeal, to say nothing of which guy she would eventually end up with), but it was so amusingly written. Few books have left me feeling so conflicted. I know this is one of a series; maybe I'd feel more resolved about it if I'd actually s...more

I didn't realize that this book was actually the third in the series, and not the second (which I didn't read) until after I finished reading it. Apparently I didn't miss much since I was able to keep up.

I enjoyed this book more than the The Little Lady Agency because Melissa wasn't as much of a spineless jellyfish like in the first. Prince Nicky was a great addition to the cast of characters and their banter was amusing.

Of course Nelson was in the story, and like in the fir...more

I finished this book this morning. It was another good one by Hester Browne. Her character Mel has just the right amount of spunk, attitude, glamour and personality to keep you turning the pages. LOVED IT! This is the 3rd book in her Little Lady Agency series and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a easy fun read. :)

I have enjoyed reading the last two Little Lady Agency books (The Little Lady Agency and Little Lady, Big Apple) and this delightful novel lived up to all my expectations. Sometimes after two or three novels the author has worn out the original concept (sort of how I feel about Shopaholic series by Kinsella), but kudos to Hester Browne for coming up with more fun and problems for Melissa Romney-Jones.

In this ‘episode’ Melissa is preparing to move to Paris with fiancé Jonathon, while ...more

Very fun book. I liked the first two books in this series a lot, and this one is a great addition.

This is a story about an English girl who sets up her own "Little Lady Agency" where she acts as "sort of a freelance advisor for single men who need a bit of help keeping everything running smoothly. You know, all the things girlfriends do for free" (but not that). In this one, she has to tackle a playboy prince who has to reform his act.

Anyways, a v...more

I'm giving this chick lit novel 4 stars...for a few reasons. One, I think it's well written...the plot has a point and the author does a good job of introducing characters and subplots...everything seems to flow very well. Two, I like the characters...just like other novels I like there are characters I love and those I hate...if an author can get me to cheer for the heroine then I think it's all good...and Melissa is someone I cheered for. And three...it's not totally predictable like some o...more

I wavered between 4.5 and 5 stars on this one but overall I just have such warm-fuzzies when I think about it, and I did love reading it, so I decided, in the spirit of Melissa, to be generous ;-) This is a worthy addition to Hester Browne's delightful, well-written, warmhearted and witty "Little Lady Agency" series in which the Honey side of Melissa must try to help a handsome prince find the beauty of good manners and in respecting women on a more intellectual level (which, of cours...more

TLLA and the Prince is the third installment in the Little Lady Agency series. I have really enjoyed Browne's series and find her characters very interesting. Even though it has been awhile since I read the Browne's second installment, I jumped right back into the story and enjoyed the continuity of some of the more lovable traits of the main characters.

Without giving anything away, I was not completely on board with the ending of the novel. Though it was very predictable (I had...more

This is my favorite book of the three. In this one, you can really see Melissa figure out who she is and what she wants from her life. More annoying characters (Gabi and Allegra) are rarely seen and/or toned down, and Granny takes a larger role. But this was the book that made me really like Melissa, who had always seemed too resigned about her life, but cheerfully in denial about it. Browne gave her more depth in this book, and I loved that Prince Nicky helped Melissa figure out her life. Loved...more

Every time I read a book by Hester Browne, I try to stretch them out to make them last, I love them so much. This was a great ending to the series. What I love most about these books is that the characters are real and there's a blend of all emotions, but it never gets too bubble gum or too dismal; the story stays witty and charming from start to finish. I only have one Brown book left...we'll see how long I can wait to start it!

I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books in this series and I think this was the best of all. The story is told with wit and the characters are interesting. Nelson is a bit too good to be true, but he does have some quirks and wit that keep him from being a stuffed shirt. The prince of the title is a handful, but an attractive one. From the ending I would suspect that there won't be another book in the series.

Melissa Romney Jones aka Honey Blennerhesket is back! The Little Lady Agency is still immensely successful, and Melissa is now engaged to her fabulous former client, sexy American Jonathan. So what could go wrong?

Well, Jonathan's working in Paris and has some expectations for Melissa. He wants her to start a new business with him in Paris. But Melissa can't give up the LLA. Who will help the hapless and helpless bachelors of London? Especially Nicky, the playboy prince that Mel...more

I don't want to put a spoiler in this review, but I was really happy with the turn of events in this book. Melissa finally let her strong self come out (Honey) and stood up to people in her life. A storyline that had been simmering for three books finally had an ending. I loved this book! I went out and bought a Kate Spade handbag after I finished it.

Just for one day I would like to live my life as Melissa Romney-Jones/Honey Blennerhesket (especially with a last name like that!). This series did three major things for me: 1) embrace my curves and eating style 2) sorely tempt me to buy a blonde wig and 3) talk Tim into becoming a sailor. If you want an addicting, fun series, this is it.

Melissa/Honey has her toughest assignment yet: getting a n'er-do-well, playboy prince ready to move into his new castle in his old country. Meanwhile, her family is screwier than ever and her fiance is putting pressure on her to move to Paris. This is the best of the series. I love the decisions Melissa makes (as her very own self!).

I picked this up at the Library. It takes place in London and I am a sucker for that. It reminded me a little of Sophie Kinsella but I thought it was fairly clean. It is lighthearted and made me laugh. This is not
the first one in the series but I could follow it great. Going to read the next one in the series.

The end a fun series. I liked how it all ended. I thought this book tied up loose ends better than the others and that the story was just a lot more fun. My biggest complaint about all the books was that they all resolved so abruptly that it didn't feel finished to me.

All in all, a fun, light, series.

I enjoyed it more than the first two books. And it is not the end I would have expected when starting the book. Not really sure what that says about me. You can read the first two because they are cute and have great background but I am not sure I wouldn’t just read the third if I had it to do over.

I loved the ending of the first book. I liked the second book. But reading the last book tied up all the little kinks in the plot and made everything so much better than if I had stopped after the first. An analogy for life? Probably. Ah, the beneits of literature.
