I loved this book. Unlike Ethan Mordden's "Buddies" series, which focuses on a group of gay male friends, this book focuses on one couple in a mixed lesbian and gay group. Jeff & Lloyd are defining relationships on their own terms, and it isn't always easy. I saw a lot of me in this book: of my struggle to define life and love on my own terms, especially while living in a world that barely acknowledges my right to love at all. Recommended? Hell yea!

I felt so gay reading this...and I loved it.
I think this was my first gay novel. Even though I could not really relate to any of the characters (aside from being gay), I found this to be a good summer read. It might seem a little soap opera-ish at first, but it really deals with a lot of relationship issues that could happen to anyone. .

I know that this book is like those films we love the first time we see them and then, on subsequent viewings, find them nearly intolerable. There is a sweetness that I took away from reading this book and I am not about to spoil it by rereading it and finding out that it is actually poor. Nope.

This is William Mann's first published novel. An interesting construction -- and story that rings true. Set in Boston and Provincetown MA he chronicles the change AID and HIV brought to the gay community. Great read!

A good tale about the pulse of Provincetown. Things I never knew... but, will always remember.
