According to legend, the site of the Louvre was long ago infested with wolves. A slight phonetic change, and the French word 'loup', meaning wolf, gave birth to the name that would be used for a palace, and eventually, a museum. But first it was a fortress.

I'd probably give this 3.5 stars...

It has lovely photographs, though they are a bit small. It was translated from French into English and I think therein lies the trouble. It was a bit hard to follw and the flow could be confusing. But overall still informative and fun to look through.
