Tuck is making a Haunted House for Halloween, and he wants it to be perfect. It’s going to be full of scary stuff: a mummy, Ghouls’ Eyeballs, a Tunnel of Doom, an Icky, Drippy Forest . . . and a bratty little sister? No way! Recommends it for: parents reading with their children
Shelves: childrens, halloween, 2011
This is a fun and cute story for Halloween. The illustrations are humorous and help show more of what's going on in the tale, making it less scary for children. The narrative isn't too scary, either, so it's a good book for younger children. We enjoyed reading this story together.

I read this to my daughter last night and it was a cute book about a brother making a haunted house in his garage and to him his sister is too young to be of any help. I liked the ideas Tuck came up with for his scary fortress. Fun book for this time of year.

A cute preschool book about a boy who sets up a haunted house - with the help of a "very scary" sister.

One of my favorite Halloween stories - as a bonus, includes good ideas for making your own haunted house - and has the little sibling go from annoying to treasured!
