Alaska is full of bright colors and attractive photos; however that is where my praise will stop. It is factually inaccurate and too biased in many of the comments. The Alaska Native content is flat out offensive and there are far too many errors to list them all here.

To make a very long story short, this is not a book I would add to my library’s collection nor would I recommend it to others. There are many well done volumes on the state of Alaska geared towards a juvenile audience but this is n

I enjoyed this book, and the facts and pictures, but I did feel that despite the number of people it highlighted, it was a little light on Native Alaskans. I also questioned a few of the statistics.
Non-fiction... Beautiful pictures and rich details.
