5 stars to Leonardo, who was shockingly brilliant and at times exceedingly esoteric, but only 3 stars for this edition because it didn't include the drawings, diagrams, and renderings.
I am not sure which edition of this book I read as I got it through my university's library years ago. It was multi-volumed and illustrated. I loved it. Fascinating.
Wonderful.
Brilliant.... but no pictures! Really annoying for the optics and mechanical sections, the former of which is my prime interest. Anyway, an inspiring collection nonetheless.
