Sure you do their laundry, help with their homework, pick them up from school, but kids never notice that stuff. every mom does that. If you really want to impress your family, do something unexpected something they'll think is cool -- like stand on your head in the grocery store or ask for a turn at bat during little league practice.

This is a really cute book with answers to some important questions that you may encounter at some point in your life like:

How to Identify a Poinsonous Spider
How to Get Gum Out of Your Hair
How to Use a Wrench
How to Pitch a Tent
How to Find Out How Far North You Are

But mostly, it contains answers to silly, but fun questions like:

How to Talk in Code
How to Make Enough Clay for a Year
How to Whistle with an Acorn
How to Wiggle Your Ears
How to Hang by Your Knees

If you're a cool mom, you should at least

My son took this book from me before I was able to finish it and read the whole thing! He LOVED that it showed cool things for a mom to teach her, he learned pig latin from it and has so much fun! I would recommend it for a mom of a 6 to 10 year old. Lots of info. for you, as well!
This one is cool! I read it and it reminded me of a lot of my better childhood memories (which are admittedly often lost among the other things I endured in childhood) I recommend this one if you want to learn the things you children will want to learn!
This book is a fun guide. Each page has things a mom should know from blowing a 6 foot bubble to cracking an egg with one hand.
giving this to one daughter and buying another for the other daughter.
