I couldn't find just "The Namesake" on the good reads list. I want to reread this, as I wasn't totally impressed the first time, but I just saw the movie, which is amazing, plus both Mom and Jeanette gave the book high marks, so I'll give it another try.

Amazing story of an imigrant family from India and how they adjusted to American culture throughout the 1980s and 90s. The movie is pretty great, too.
