A great exercise for thinking players, but likely to make me think way too much for the stakes at which I can afford to play. It tests and reinforces the ideas of the first two volumes nicely, and Harrington is patient and articulate in describing his logic at every juncture.

Great! The books is played out in quiz format, with points awarded based on every single decision made in 50 different hands, most of them examples taken from major tournaments, with well-known players sitting at your hypothetical table. The discussions about why one move is a mistake or another is a brilliant play are superb, and above anything in either volume I or II. It's instructional, makes you think about the game in a new way, and is a fun chance to see what makes the greatest players...more

Somehwat like Godfather III, not as good as the first 2, but then again Harrington is the Godfather of Tourney book authors.
