What have I learned from this book other than Hubbard pretending to be a Medical doctor named Dr. Spink and making wild claims such as Scientology cure radiation burns? Nothing.

If you would like to learn about radiation that is more accurate and just as deep. Take a 8th grader, put him in a nuclear physics class, and have him explain it to you. You will probably get similar basic concepts and perhaps some of the same misunderstanding Hubbard has in this book but without all the Scientology mumb

The book starts out with a section written (probably by LRH) under the pseudonym "Medicus" about radiation and its effects. I don't know enough about this subject to know how reliable this information is, but it hardly matters. The main part of the book consists of lectures given by LRH on the topic of radiation and the main point of these seem to be that if you've got Scientology, you don't need to worry about nuclear war.
