This book is written by a man that was in the leadership of the Communist Party in the early 20th century and defected upon becoming a Christian. He became a consultant for the Church, helping them to understand why it was that the Communist movement was exploding while the Church was languishing.

After renouncing Communism, Douglas Hyde turned to Christianity and found himself comparing a political movement that consumed nearly one third of the planet to a religious movement that atrophied. Douglas decided to articulate how the methods of Communism could be used for Christianity. This book is an interesting read and is the best book I have found to date on movement building. This is the first book I have immediately bought for others after reading it.
