Loved looking at the recipes and seeing the variations from some of the Taitingfong family's recipes that I've only recently discovered. I love reliving my childhood memories through the food. We always had gatherings at my Aunty Rose's and the table was filled with island food. YUM!

Paula Quinene was born and raised on Guam. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 1997 with an exercise science degree, hoping to return to the island as a teacher. A resident of North Carolina since 2000, Paula's homesickness or "mahalangness" have resulted in her Guam cookbooks, A Taste of Guam and Remember Guam.
