Okay, I finally got this book earlier in the month, and I absolutely love it! Which is saying a lot; I really have a hard time finding books that don't make tacky patterns (ie.: patterns using Fun Fur, which makes your hat/scarf set look like you killed a Muppet for its pelt).

Half of these patterns are nightmare-ishly grannified! However, there are a few cute ones that actually help the book redeem itself. The Maisie Baby Cardigan is precious and the bobble handbag is cute as well as a few others.

Like the "vintage" styles, just not sure how many I'll actually make. But, I found this book at such a bargain clearance price, I couldn't pass it up - great photos and clear instructions.

Gorgeous book. I am working on a variation of the ripple stripe blanket pictured on the cover, in an assortment of sherbet colors, inspired by Posie Gets Cozy.

Gorgeous photographs fill the pages and inspire you to try some of the tried and true patterns in more modern colors. Lovely book, lovely patterns just begging to be tried on a summer day with the kiddies playing in the backyard.
