Recommends it for: children starting to read chapter books
This is the first story we've read in the Jigsaw Jones Mystery series and we liked it. It was a fairly simple mystery to solve and it was a nice story to read at Valentine's Day. It's perfect for young elementary school-age children who are starting to read chapter books. We have the first book in the series on hold and will probably dig into this series in earnest.

SHORTY

I think this was the first novel I read.

Awesome book! I remember being inspired by the book that I became the school detective back then. And I feel so ridiculous.

I also love Jigsaw. Not from Saw movies, okay? He has a great personality. And we're almost alike. I can relate with some his situations.

Overall, I love this series. This was my first love with novels.
