Donna Mcaleese
This book is packed with all sorts of poems and rhymes including a sequence of number rhymes, action rhymes, noisy rhymes and more thought provoking pieces too. Some of my favourites included: “Crazy Mayonnaisy Mum” a singsong type poem, with lots of humour and rhythm, great to read aloud as a class, and “Name the Day” illustrating how God named the days of the week.

Mary and I were always creating imaginary characters and mimicking real ones, and I used to write shows and choreograph ballets for us. A wind-up gramophone wafted out Cho
